Inina Shanta Dewberry

Inina Shanta Dewberry, also known as "Nina" but better known as "Ninaross Da Boss", age 45, of Dayton, OH passed away unexpectantly on March 8, 2023. She was born to the parents of Milton Dewberry Jr. and Mattie Alberta Cole on July 12, 1977.

Inina was born in Dayton OH, and lived in Kentucky for a while until the passing of her mother in 1993, where she then moved back to Dayton, OH. to live with close family members. Inina always had a smile on her face and enjoyed spending a lot of her time with her family and friends. You could always find Nina with loved ones laughing, cracking jokes, dancing, lifting up a glass and cheering on her favorite football team the Cincinnati Bengals, "Who Dey?" her beloved cousin sister/friends Allie, Saundra, Chelle.

Nina did not have children of her own, but claimed all 41 nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews as her very own. "Ninaross Da Boss" had so much love to give and was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Those who love Nina, will miss her as "Shero", a fighter, a sister, a friend, an auntie, cousin and overall beautiful person both inside and out. She will forever hold a place in our hearts.

Her memory will be cherished by her siblings: Sisters, Tonda Robinson (Jerry), Idina E. Cole, Melody L. Cole-Gates (Andre); Brothers, Meldon E. Dewberry, Dennis Dewberry, Richard Black, Milton Black; her stepmother, Dianne McClendon-Woullard; step sisters and brothers Mautisha Davis, Reno Thomas, Reuben Davis; close and loving cousin Alexandria "Allie" Cole; 22 nieces, 19 nephews, a host of cousins, aunts, uncles along with extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Milton Dewberry Jr., Mattie Alberta Whitfield, her beloved Uncle "Dad", Norman Ray Cole Sr., Bridgett Davis (sister) Rena Thomas (stepsister).

A visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Boulevard, Kettering, OH 45439 where the funeral service will begin at 2:00pm.
