Imo Jean Johnson, age 71 of Dayton, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at The Hospice of Dayton. She was born February 5, 1943 in Madison County, KY to the late Charles and Ida Bell (Goins) King. Imo Jean was preceded in death by her parents and 6 siblings.

She is survived by her husband, George Johnson; children, Teresa (Greg) Plumb, Jeffrey (Linda) Powell, Kimberly (Robert) Barnett and Joe (Heather) Johnson; step-children, Debbie Monday, John (Lois) Lovins and Steve (Kathy) Lovins; grandchildren, Charlie Lovell, Chad Lovell, Justin Lovell, Anthony Powell, Amanda Cecil, Robert Barnett IV, Brian Powell, Brenna Shahan and Ian Johnson; step-grandchildren, Christina Odum, Chelsey Presley, Jackie Lovins, Robin Lovins, Katie Lovins and Steven Lovins; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Imo Jean was an avid member of Open Bible Christian Church in Dayton.

Imo Jean's wishes were to have no services. The family is respecting her wishes. Memorial donations may be made to the The Hospice of Dayton, in her memory.
