Illa Dimple Tays

TAYS, Illa Dimple (nee Henry), age 85, of West Carrollton, passed away Fri., Jan. 19, 2007 at Walnut Creek Nursing Center, Kettering. She was born Feb. 5, 1921 in Monterey, TN. Illa was preceded in death by her parents Homer & Florence Henry, sisters Daisy Poteet, Dorothy Whittaker and Louise Tate and brother James Henry. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Albert "Clinton"; children Linda Johnson & husband Ed of Waynesville and Larry Tays of West Carrollton; brother Herbert Henry of Kettering; 6 grandsons; 5 great-grandchildren; 6 nieces; 8 nephews and a host of other family and friends. Illa was a beautician at ILLA TAYS BEAUTY SALON on Brown St., from where she retired after 45 years. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Walnut Creek and Hospice of Dayton for their loving care. Funeral services 10 A.M., Thurs., Jan. 25, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Pastor Clyde Waites officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
