Ila June Davis

DAVIS, Ila June, age 83, of Dayton, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital at 5:10 am on April 21, 2012.

She was born on April 24, 1928 to Samuel Lewis and Lulu Francis (Day) Davis in Brown County, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James Richard Davis and Samuel Lewis Davis Jr.

She was employed by the U.S. Air Force as a civil service employee for 38 years. Ila's Career start at Wright Patterson, spent 3 years in Japan, then returned to California, then back to Wright Patterson where she retired as a Traffic Management Officer.

During her retirement she loved playing bridge and did some babysitting for a great-niece, Autumn Miller, who is presently living in Pennsylvania.

Ila is survived by a sister, Alice Jaunita Fread of Dayton, Ohio and a sister and brother-in-law, Donald and Neva Blair of Washington Court House, Ohio; a niece, Carolyn Fread of Dayton, Ohio and several other nieces and nephews. According to her wishes, Ila was cremated.
