Ila Beichler

Ila, our beloved Mom, Granny, and Aunt Ila, departed her loving family on June 22, 2021. Ila was born in Corbin, Kentucky on March 31, 1930 to Lydia and James Rose.

Ila was mother to Patsy Schirmer and David Beichler. She raised her children with love and devotion in Beavercreek, Ohio with her husband, Carl Beichler.

Ila retired from Hooven Dayton where she worked in the print industry for many years. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with the ones she loved.

Ila is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Beichler; parents, James and Lydia Rose; her siblings, Cordia Moore, Cecie Ridner, Rhea McCormick, Sylsie Reeves, and George Rose; two sisters in their youth, Ossie and Edna; grandchildren, Elisha Schirmer and Beau Schirmer and great granddaughter, Jessica Waymire.

She is survived by her children, Patsy (Jimmy) Schirmer and David (Lisa) Beichler; grandchildren; Chuck Schirmer, Angel (Todd) McGlaun, Ammi (Shawn) Haacke and Vincent (Rachel) Beichler; great grandchildren, Derek Schirmer, Olivia Schirmer, Abbi (Josh) Harrell, Carli Waymire, Hudson Haacke, Tyler Beichler, Anna Beichler, Emmi Beichler and Tobin Beichler; great-great grandchildren, Ila Rucker, Sophi Harrell, and Theo Basham and brother, Olan (Rosa Lee) Rose.

Aside from the children and grandchildren she doted on, Ila is survived by a host of wonderful nieces, nephews, and countless loving friends and family members.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 30, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm at Newcomer of Beavercreek (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). She will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Xenia, Ohio following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice of Dayton can be made in Ila's name.
