Brunk, Idamae, age 88, of Dayton, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2007. She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Dayton, and a long time member of the Daughters of the Nile.
Idamae is survived by her daughters: Rita (Dave) Prikkel, Sharon Carroll; grandchildren: Amy Wollenhaupt, Colleen (Roger) Reynolds, Tina (Doug) Bickert, Greg Ward, Scott Carroll, Jason Brunk, Paul Brunk; great grandchildren: Jessica Beatty, Kelsey & Jenna Reynolds, Andrew & Miranda Bickert; sister: Betty Burns; son-in-law: Daryl Ward; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Harley Brunk; daughters: Patricia Wollenhaupt, Rosemary Ward; son: Eugene Brunk; grandsons: Chad Prikkel & Michael Brunk; and sister: Lillian Burns.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 21 at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Reverend Randall Brakemeyer officiating. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family wil receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either St. Johns United Church of Christ or Woodglen Alzheimers Community.
