Ida Walker

Walker, Ida L., age 90, of Lakeview, OH, and formerly of Dayton, OH, died Monday, December 5, 2005. She was born March 25, 1915 in Sparta, TN the daughter of William E. and Mary M. (Gooch) Sims. She was a member of the Eastern Star Sunbeam Chapter. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Richard and Belinda Walker of Brownsville, TX, Harold and Lynn Walker of Lakeview, OH; grandchildren, Tracy, Joe, Spencer, Christopher, and Jason; six great-grandchildren; nieces, Glenna Byrd and Caroll Craft; nephews, James Sims and Robert Shoemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Walker; both parents; one brother, Charles Sims; one sister Hester Shoemaker. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) where visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
