Ian Smith, age 35, of Dayton, passed away on January 14, 2022. He was born on September 19, 1986.
He enjoyed listening to and playing music. He could play many different instruments, but he really liked to play the Bass and sing. He was in several local bands in Dayton. He was an avid gamer and collected video games and gaming consoles. He really liked to be outdoors and go on hikes with his wife, Tara and his son, Lyric. He liked to watch football and had a love/hate relationship with the Cleveland Browns.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Bettyanne Smith.
Ian's memory will be cherished by his beloved wife, Tara Smith; his son, Lyric; his parents, Chris and Crystal Smith; brothers, Jimmy (Krystal) Simpson, Josh (Lynn) Kreitzer and David Kreitzer; nephew: Carson; niece: Katelyn; as well as several cousins, extended family, and friends.
A visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where a funeral service will begin at 4:00pm.
