Howard Franklin Stover, Jr., age 60, of Dayton, passed away October 15, 2020. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on May 10, 1960, the son of the late Howard and Elizabeth Stover.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Howard is survived by his children, Howard "Trey" F. (Jenny) Stover, III, Laura Beth (Danny) Spurgeon and Jerald "Jerry" Lee (Wendy) Stover; grandchildren, Kayla, Trey, Koby, Rilee, Braxton, Hayden, Anna, Renee and Jerry, Jr.; great-grandchild, Brooklynn and 1 more due in March 2021; Brenda Scott-Rumbaugh, mother of his children; sister, Cheryl D. (Greg) Litteral; and many other loving family and friends.
Howard had a great sense of humor and loved making you laugh with his unforgettable laughter. He loved his family, friends and animals. He also enjoyed listening to music and reading his Bible. Howard proudly served his country in the United States Army from October 6, 1980-October 6, 1983.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020, from 3:00pm-4:00pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where services will begin at 4:00 pm. Burial will follow at a later date at Dayton Memorial Park.
