Howard Franklin Stover, age 80 of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton. Howard was born in Long Branch, WV. In addition to his parents, Ernie and Helen (Wriston) Stover, Howard was preceded in death by 1 sister and 4 brothers.
Howard is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elizabeth "Libby" (Coleman) Stover, daughter Cheryl (Greg) Litteral, son Howard Jr., brothers; Herman, Winton, Curtis; sisters; Ann, Edith, Shirley, Wanda, 5 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was a loving family man and loved to listen to blue grass and was an avid Nascar fan. Howard proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio.
