Howard C. Stafford, age 81, of Dayton, passed away August 10, 2020, at home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Gainesboro, Tennessee, on December 5, 1938, the son of the late Aaron and Lula Stafford.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Lois Hollon.
Howard is survived by his beloved wife of over 59 years, Bonnie (Hatcher) Stafford; children, Mark (Elizabeth) Stafford, Melissa (Douglas) Alley and Michael (Melanie) Stafford; grandchildren, Seth, Anna, Sarah, Kyle, Rachel, Ashley, Aaron, Justin and Kyle; great grandchildren, Selah, Emilien, Korben, Troy, Cole, Marshall, Rorie, Jaylen, Natalie, Olivia, Baby Ellis, Isabella, Kali, Jackson and June; and nephew, Gary (Janet) Hollon.
He retired from Wright State University Nutter Center. In his free time, he loved everything to do with cars, especially hot rods and muscle cars. Howard had so many people who loved him dearly, friends and family.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
