Age 83, of Huber Heights, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008. Howard is survived by his wife of the past 63 years, Margie Burr; two children, Danny & Phyllis Burr and Stephen & Teresa Burr; six grandchildren, Danny Jr., James (Lisa), Michael, Jeremy (Jamie), Stephen M. and Dana Michelle; ten great grandchildren; and by one brother, Wendell & Kathryn Burr. Howard was a member of Cornerstone Church of God. During WW II he served in the U. S. Navy. He retired in 1990 from Karrollton Envelope Company with 25 years of service. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, (3/10) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday with Pastor John Rice officiating. Interment will follow at Byron Cemetery.
