Howard "Michael" Johnson, age 61 of Kettering, Ohio went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2021. He was born October 1, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio son of Howard and Charmaine Johnson.
Michael was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He worked at Bowlin Energy Group where he was a leader of operations for many years. Michael was the most loving kind man that you ever knew. His family was his pride and joy. He was an avid Bengal's and Cincinnati Reds Fan. In Michaels free time he enjoyed golfing and hunting. He was a member of the Vineyard Church. Michael will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Howard Johnson; father-in-law, Frank Harkleroad; brother -in-law, Jerry Sage.
Michael is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gloria Johnson; son's, Howard (Holly) Johnson of Xenia, Ohio Kyle (Nicole) Johnson of Orleans, Indiana; grandchildren, Frank, Bracey, Neveah, Brodey, Caine, Willow, Brileigh, Bentley, Aubree, Mason, Mylah, and Ellie; mother, Charmaine Johnson; siblings, Connie Sage, Vicki (John) Harshman, and Sean (Jhama) Johnson; mother-in-law, Evelyn Harkleroad; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton -Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45320). Funeral Service will begin at 1:00pm at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow.
The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks be worn in all public places.
