Howard (Rock) McFarland McCully, age 91, passed away September 1, 2013.

He was born December 29, 1921 in Hot Springs, AR, son of the late Grover C. McCully and Ethel Crowell McCully, he served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from NCR Corp. Since then, he enjoyed spending time with family, was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, and a love for his furry friends, Ms. Blue and Blackie (cats). A loving, generous, and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who will always be remembered and deeply missed. He was a member of the First Church of God Miamisburg.

Rock was proceeded in death by his wife, Pauline (Couch) McCully; brothers, Owen A. (Florence), Hack (Burlene), and Sidney (Lolly); nephews, Michael Moreland (Mickey) and E.H. McCully Jr. (Buddy); and Cody (cat).

Survived by son, Bruce Langos (Diane); daughters, Deborah Prichard (Richard) and Melanie McCully; granddaughter, Tracy Prichard; and brother, Jimmy McCully.

The family wishes to send heartfelt thanks to the Doctors and staff at Kettering and Sycamore Hospitals.

Visitation is Thursday September 5, 2013 from 1pm to 2:30pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH with graveside service following at 3pm at David's Cemetery, Kettering, OH.
