Howard W. Gordon, age 84 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born April 26, 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Wilbur and Augusta Gordon.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Gordon; and sister, Shirley Leiter.
Howard is survived by his children, David (Shirley) Gordon, Diana Gordon (Glen Frideger); grandchildren, Anna (Rob) Robinson, Jennifer (Shaune) Wells, Shane (Krista) Sturgill; great grandchildren, Austin, Searra, Chloe, Tearra "T," Colton, Collin, KC, Caden and Carson. Howard was also expecting the arrival of his first great-great grandson, Braxton.
Howard was a truck driver for many years. He was also an avid NASCAR fan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). A Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 pm.
