Age 72, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 13, 2008, after an extended illness.
Howard is survived by his wife of the past 35 years, Jean (Shepherd) Smith; five children; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and by his extended family & many good friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 21, at Living Word Church in Vandalia.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Howard to Living Word Church or Hospice of Dayton.
