Homer W. Coomer, age 79, of Dayton, OH passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014.
Homer served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Myra Coomer; 2 daughters, Cheryl (Thomas) Montgomery and Lisa (Ronnie) Barnett; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 15, 2014 from 5-7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
