Homer Riley, age 78 of Riverside, Ohio, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020. He was born December 9, 1942 in Middletown, Ohio to the late Lee and America Riley.
In addition to his parents, Homer was preceded in death by his siblings, Elmer Riley, JC Riley, Hobert Riley, Minnie Jones, Chelsea Mitchell and Martha Darnell.
Homer will be missed by his loving wife of 43 years, Ruby sons, Eric (Sarah) Riley and Jason Riley; grandchildren, Tricia, Layne, Tucker, Lillie, Jagen, Daisy, Cooper and Brantley; and many nieces and nephews.
Homer was a loving husband, father and papal who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the Northridge Freewill Baptist Church and retired from Burger Iron. Homer loved to go fishing, camping, hunting and hold family gatherings. He will be dearly missed by his family.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Burial Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The state of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks be worn in all public places.
