Homer Maggard

MAGGARD, Homer D., 80, of Huber Heights passed away Wednesday April 8, 2009. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Mattie Maggard; wife Bonita Maggard; daughter Sally Maggard; brothers Bobby Gene and Frank Maggard. Homer Is survived by his children Frank "Ted" (Charlene) Maggard of Toledo, OH, Debbie (Bob) Miller, and Bonnie (Clarence) White; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers Jack, and Leo Maggard; sister JoAnn Cox; brother-in-law James (Bonnie) Gambrell; many other family and friends. He was an active member of Crossroads Church of God. Homer was a veteran in the U.S. Army with services in the Korean War. Funeral services will be held 6:00PM Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Pastor Rick Smith officiating. Family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00PM Sunday prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Dayton Memorial Park.
