Homer Dye

Homer Dye, age 87, of Union, Ohio, passed away on December 10, 2022. He was born in Paintsville, KY, on January 14, 1935 to the late Henry and Rena Dye. In addition to his parents, Homer was preceded in death by son, Homer Riley; daughter and son in law, Cheryl and Walter Trent; 2 brothers; 5 sisters; his mother in law; and his brother in law.

Homer is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Phyllis; children: Cindy (Scottie) Middleton, Mary (Steve) Conger, John (Bessie) Dye, Phyllis (Bill) Bergen, Matthew (Lindsey) Dye; numerous grand children and great grandchildren; sister in law, Susie Young; and many other family and friends.

Homer loved to hunt and fish, he also enjoyed shopping for cars. He loved his family and the time he got to spend with them. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2022 beginning at 11:30am at the Grace Brethern Village Community Center, 1010 Taywood Road, Englewood.
