Hiram Gwin "Jr.", age 94 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024. He was born March 14, 1929 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Manuel and Cora Gwin.
Hiram is survived by his beloved wife, Alice Gwin; children, Barbara (Paul) Heyse, Linda (Tom) Elrod, Gail (Mac) Hammons, Joyce (Jack)Sollenberger, Cheryl (Darrell) Hammons; grandchildren, Heidi Heyse, Brian Elrod, Jason Elrod, Chanda Williams, Alicia King, Nick Hammons, Kelsey Hammons; and many great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be officiated at 11:00 am on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Miami Shores Baptist Church (4000 Vance Rd, Moraine, OH 45439). Family will receive guests from 10:00 am until the time of service. Hiram will be laid to rest following military honors at Evergreen Cemetery (401 N Miami Ave, Dayton, OH 45449).
