Hilda Mae Claypool

Claypool, Hilda Mae, age 75 of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born June 10, 1932 in Ripley, OH, the daughter of Joseph Louis & Margaret Ellen (Bartrum) Trinkler. She loved to swim and loved her flowers, shopping, and her big family. She loved country music, especially George Jones and Conway Twitty. Hilda lived for sharing Christmas with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph West; and her sister, Corrina Jane. Survivors include her husband, Elmer Claypool; children, Patricia (Darwin) Cruea, Ronald (Darlene) Claypool, Crystal Brock, Roberta Crump, Howard Claypool, Brenda (Kenny) Walling, & Elmer Claypool, Jr.; 21 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; sisters, Virginia (Robert) Best of Humboldt, TN, & Mary (Charles) Lauricella; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday, April 7, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. Interment will follow at Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 6, 2008 from 12-3 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
