Herman Young
January 10, 1932 — December 15, 2015
Young, Herman Z, age 83 of West Carrollton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2015. He was born in Bakersville, NC to the late James and Sally Young.
Herman proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather and took great pleasure in doting on his grandchildren. He owned Dayton Auto Glass for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Avery Young Keller; and sisters, Ruby King and Mary Miller.
Herman is survived by his wife of 51 years, Myrna (Patterson) Young; children, Marsha (Mike) Keller and Gina (Mark) Balskey; grandchildren, Ryan and Ian Keller, and Trey and Seth Balskey; and many other loving relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 22 at 11:00am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering, with the visitation prior to service from 9:30-11am. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
