Herman Lyons

LYONS, Herman T., 83, of Kettering passed away Sunday, April 23, 2006 at Heartland of Kettering. He is preceded in death by his parents Hurshel and Bessie Lyons; wife Viola Lyons and son Hershel Lyons; sisters Zula Lyons and Ruth McPhail. Herman is survived by his sons: Virgil (Marjie), Roger (Diane), and Lloyd (Loren) Lyons; grandchildren Virgil Jr., David, Lisa, Taylor, and Paul; 11 great grandchildren; sister Mae Barber; brothers Clarance, Morris, and William Lyons; numerous other family and friends. Herman was a charter member of First General Baptist Church and retired from NCR and Delco Products. Funeral services will be held 7:00PM Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends from 4-7PM Thursday, April 27, 2006 at the funeral home. Family will also receive friends from 1-4:30PM Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Price Funeral Home in KY with service to follow. Interment will be at Lewisburg Cemetery.
