HUNTER, Herman Larry
age 96 of Kettering, passed away Monday, May 29, 2006 at Liberty Retirement Community. Herman was born March 10, 1910 in Cookville, TN, the son of Pate and Margaret Hunter. He was a member of Greenmont Oak Park Community Church. He retired from G H & R Foundry-Amcast after 43 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Opal Hunter; children, James "Rex" and wife, Stella Hunter, Carolyn and husband, Don Parrish, Louise and husband, Harry Fecher; daughter-in-law, Peggy Hunter; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Herman was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert "Gene" Hunter; and grandson, Jim Hunter. Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2006 in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Rev. Greg King will officiate.
