Age 86, of Dayton, passed away Friday, February 16, 2007, at the Maria-Joseph Living Care Center. Herman is survived by his wife, Charlene (Young) Smith; one daughter, Sharon J. Banks; two sons, Randy H. Smith and Danny L. Smith; and by two grandchildren, Randy M. and Robert M. Smith. Herman retired from General Motors with 34 years of service. Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon Tuesday, at Willow View Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.
