Herbert H. Hensley

Herbert H. Hensley, age 88 of New Carlisle, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017. He was born December 10, 1928 in Muses Mills, Kentucky to the late Frenton and Flora Hensley.

Herbert served in the U.S. Army in the 101st Airborn. He retired from Chrysler Corp. after 36 years. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the IUE. Herbert was an accomplished musician with ties to the Dayton Musicians Union.

Herbert will be missed by his loving wife of 68 years, Mary Hensley; son, Danny Hensley; granddaughter, Stacey Hensley-Michael (Michael); great-granddaughter, Lillian Emberton and sister, Judith (James) Compton.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424.
