Herbert E. Kline Jr.

Kline, Herbert E. Jr., age 86, of Kettering, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Walnut Creek Nursing Home. Herbert was a United States army Veteran proudly serving during WWII and he retired with 37 years of service at NCR. Herbert is survived by his wife of 62 years: Madonna Kline (Rathweg); daughter and son-in-law: Libby (Bruce) Wittmann of Lake Tapps, WA; grandson: Austin Wittmann; sisters: Marjorie Kline of Walnut Creek Nursing Home and Pauline Zolg of St. Petersburg, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son: Curtis Kline; parents: Herbert E. Sr. & Ruth Anna (Straeder) Kline; and brothers: Thomas and Alvin Kline. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, October 1, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5:00 P.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Herbert, envelopes will be provided.
