Herbert Donald Moehlman, age 93, of Dayton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, Thursday, February 26, 2009. Herbert was born in Dayton, Ohio September 28, 1915. He graduated from Chaminade H.S. and was a World War II veteran in the European Theater serving in Italy with the Army Air Force. He retired from Monarch Marking Systems after 32 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter; sisters Ruth and Gladys and brother Walter. Survived by the love of his life Margaret, his wife of 63 years, his son Michael (Jane) Moehlman, his daughter Linda (Greg) Parsons, his sister-in-law Julia Hayducko of Kennesaw, GA, his grandchildren, their spouses, his great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Miami Valley Hospital, Hospice of Dayton and to Dr. John Paddock for the many home visits. Services to be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Christ Episcopal Church (20 W. First Street, Dayton, Ohio) and will be officiated by Rev Gordon Price and Rev Robert Dwight. Arrangements entrusted to newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel. Memorial contributions can be made to Christ Episcopal Church and/or Hospice of Dayton.
