JEFFERS, Henry Joe, 82, of Dayton passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Heartland of Centerville. He was born Feb.13, 1929 in West Palm Beach, FL.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Anna Katherine Glancy. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Betty; children Nancy Jeffers, Joyce (Gary) Paquette, Joe Ed Jeffers, Steve (Patti) Jeffers, Cinde Mustaine, Marilyn (Byron) Friend; he was the best 9 ½ fingered grandpa on the planet to 11 grandchildren : Valerie, Matthew, Patricia, Erin (deceased), Amberly, Eric, Sarah, Stephanie, Ryan, Charlie, and Joey; 8 great grandchildren; muched loved sisters Margie and Trisha; brother-in-law Charles Glancy; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

He was a Journeyman Tool & Die maker for over 30 years at Delco Moraine and was a retiree chaplain for Local UAW 696. Joe was an active member of Open Bible Christian Church and Full Gospel Businessmen Assoc.

He loved fishing, camping, rearranging the garage, and his popcorn.

Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd. Funeral services will follow gathering at 7:00PM.

Graveside services 1:00PM Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Geln Haven Memorial in Richmond, IN
