HORTON, Henry, age 82, Fairborn, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2009. He was born January 13, 1927 in Floyd County, Kentucky. He was an Army veteran of World War II serving in Germany and retired from WPAFB in 1990 where he served as a Policeman. Henry enjoyed relaxing outdoors, working in his garden and most of all being with his family. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Virginia Alice Horton; children, Joan LeMaster, Henrietta (Greg) Garnett, Debbie (Michael) Liskany, and Karen (Tom) Knisley; 10 grandchildren, Randy, Jodi, Danny, Rodney, Joy, Ramey, Kelly, Kerry, Sara, and Philip; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Dempsey Horton, David Horton, Louise Blanton, Donald Horton, Ronald Horton, Barbara Kazee; and numerous other family. He was preceded in death by both parents, Troy and Dolly (Chaffin) Horton; one son, Phillip Horton; sons-in-law, Kevin Frame and Danny Dale LeMaster; one great-grandson, Cooper Henry Dascalos. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 24, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. at Victory Temple with funeral services beginning at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Ancil Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
