Henry L. Vezza

Henry "Hank" L. Vezza, age 97 of Jamestown, Ohio passed away May 24, 2022. He was born January 1, 1925, in Patton, PA son of the late Domenico and Grace Vezza Sr.

Hank was a devoted husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a proud United States Army Veteran who proudly served his country serving in both WW2 and Korea. He was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Jamestown, Ohio, VFW Post 8312 in Beavercreek, Ohio, and the American Legion post 763 in Beavercreek, Ohio. He also was a member of the F.O. of Eagles Post 9825 in Xenia, Ohio as well as the AM VETS 14, in Xenia, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, Hank was preceded in death by his wife Helen Vezza (McDonald); siblings, Raymond P. Vezza, Al Vezza, Domenic Vezza Jr., Julian "Tully" Vezza, Mario "Roy" Vezza, Raymond J. Vezza (infant) and Elvira Vezza (infant).

Hank is survived by his siblings, Ronald Vezza and Gloria Whitehair, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 11am-12pm at St. Augustine Catholic Church (44 East Washington Street Jamestown, Ohio 45335). A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12pm at the church.

Burial to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
