Henry H. Elmore, age 86, of Dayton, passed away April 5, 2021.
He was born September 2, 1934 in Crab Orchard, KY to the late Earl and Mary Mae (Naylor) Elmore.
Henry married Joe Etta Sowder on June 15, 1955 in Lancaster, KY. Joe Etta preceded him in death on May 21, 2005. Henry was also preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Lynn Elmore on July 5, 1976.
He is survived by his two daughters, Robin (Jason) Purcel, Linda Elmore; three granddaughters, Terri (Megan) Bond, Elizabeth Bond, Megan Eisinger; nephew, Tom (Karen) Ralston; niece, Lynyel (Brent) Duggins; sister-in-law, Vonda Sowder, and various great nieces and nephews, and his beloved Maltese, "Baby Girl".
Henry loved to joke around, old muscle cars and taking care of his family.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, April 9, 2021 at David's Cemetery, 4600 Mad River Road, Kettering, OH 45429.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Henry's memory.
