Henry Adelbert DeMarey, "Debb", age 98, of Kettering, passed away August 29, 2020.
He was born March 25, 1922 in Lincoln, Maine to the late Lincoln A. and Charlotte (Mulharen) DeMarey.
After graduating from Mattanawcook Academy, he enlisted in US Army Air Corps (which is now the US Air Force). He proudly served in WWII and the Korean War. He went on to work at the Research Dept. at UD retiring after more than 30 years as a Supervisor of Graphic Arts, where he also taught drafting and mechanical drawing.
On December 9, 1944 he married Patricia A. (Kester) DeMarey, and had two daughters and one son.
Throughout his life he was an avid outdoorsman, and was a very creative woodworker. He also enjoyed golf, reading, crossword puzzles and storytelling. Debb was a gifted harmonica player.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Patricia in 2000, his brother, Lincoln A. DeMarey Jr. in 2007, and his granddaughter, Lisa Knopp.
Henry is survived by his children, Elaine Luthman, Patricia "Patsy" (Tim) Maloney, Ronald (Marty) DeMarey; grandchildren, Dr. Scott (Trish) Luthman, Jennifer (Anthony) Boldman, Allison (Dan) Reynolds, Sara (Shaun) Arthur, Karen (Timmy Marsden) DeMarey, Julie (Charles) Barrett, Christopher (Lindsey) DeMarey; 28 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; sister, Josephine DiCenso along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 10:00 am until time of mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at Ascension Catholic Church, 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering, Ohio 45420.
