Henry D. Brodie

BRODIE, Henry D., age 86, passed away Thursday February 18, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sewell and Lucille Brodie; siblings, Wesley (Steve) Brodie, Marion Brodie, Don Brodie. He is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Alyson; children, Kent (Mayela) Brodie, Heather Brodie, Laurie Brodie, Erin Brodie (Jeff) Morgan, Shannon Brodie (Scot) Caviness; siblings, Kathleen Newman, William Brodie; grandchildren, Jacen Geiger, Kirk Geiger, Jeffrey Morgan, Shannon Morgan, and Jessica Caviness. He was a Professor of Microbiology at Kettering College of Medical Arts and Loma Linda University. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather that will be dearly missed. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Monday February 22, 2010 at the chapel at Miami Cemetery, Waynesville, OH. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
