Henry Robert Colquitt

Henry Robert Colquitt, age 77, of Huber Heights, passed away on March 12, 2022. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 22, 1944, the son of the late Harry and Fannie Colquitt.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jimmy Colquitt, Melvin Colquitt, Ronald Colquitt and Charles Colquitt; and his sisters, Cookie Colquitt, Margie Colquitt and Debbie Colquitt.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ngoc Dung Colquitt; step-sons, Hung (Chinh Tran) Trinh and Tung (Truc Lan Nguyen)Trinh; grandchildren, Paul Tran, Kevin Tran, Laura Tran, Jenny Nguyen; sister, Juanita Colquitt; and many other loving family and friends.

Henry served his country proudly by serving in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from D.E.S.C. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, collecting watches and coins, and watching his favorite TV shows. He was the rock of the family and was always there for those he loved. Henry was an amazing, loving husband and Dad. He will be dearly missed by his wife and those who knew and loved him, especially his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-5:00pm, on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery at 12:30pm.
