Henry Asbury Duckworth

DUCKWORTH, Henry Asbury, age 85, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Helen Duckworth. Henry is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty. He was a graduate of Stivers High School, Class of 1939 and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati as an electrical engineer. He was a WWII veteran serving in the 8th Air Force as a radio operator, and retired from Dayton Power and Light as a supervisor in the electric meter department. Henry was also a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, August 13, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering.
