Helen L. Wills

Helen L. Wills, age 86 of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at home. She was born June 10, 1936 in Middletown, Ohio the daughter of Asa and Catherine (Teckemeyer) Peck.

Helen worked for the Miami Township Police Department and the Lebanon Police Department as a Dispatcher for over 35 years. She was a devout member of Look to Jesus Ministries. She will be remembered for her dry sense of humor. Helen was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 11 siblings, Walter Peck, Marie Atkinson, Robert Peck, Earl Peck, Wilbur Peck, Dorothy Wilder, Albert Peck, Betty Tutt, Kathaleen Murphy, Chester Peck & Mary Armitage and granddaughter, Elizabeth "Katie" Modlin.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Beth (Brian) Modlin; 5 grandchildren, Amber, Mark (Kelsea), Donnie, Gabby & Nick (Autumn) Modlin; 3 great grandchildren, Promise, Paradise & Kueen Modlin and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, August 5, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a service at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Helen will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens following the service.
