Helen Bernice Viets, 86, of Kettering, OH passed away Thursday December 1, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Amanda Long; husband, Lowell "Jim" Viets; son, James Viets, and 4 brothers. Survivors include children, Susan Lane, Timothy Viets, Michial Viets, Jeff Viets, Bobby Viets, and Peggy Doolin; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Helen worked in the Deli at the Kettering Krogers for 18 years and was loved by many people. She was taken care of by Heartland of Miamisburg for the last 3 years and deeply appreciate their service and care. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. She was a great mother, grandmother, and friend.
Visitation is Tuesday December 6, 2011 from 10am to 11am at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH with graveside following at 12pm at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, OH.
