Helen Sue Phillips
Helen Sue phillips, age 72, of Moraine, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010 after an 11 month battle with pancreatic cancer.
Sue was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and mamaw.
She was born July 21, 1938 in Exeter, Virginia.
Sue is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, LC Phillips; devoted children, Mike (Tammy) Phillips, Donna Bentley, Teresa (Sonny) Johnson, Jeff (Opal) Phillips and Robin (Scott) West; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob Morris and J.E. (Paula) Morris; sister, Judy (Dennis) Donavan; sisters-in-law, Dagmar Morris, Iloe Collier and Emma Jean Phillips; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Eliza Morris; brothers, Bill and Jack Morris; sister, Theda Carroll.
Sue retired from the GM truck plant and was a member of Moraine City Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday November 17, 2010 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 11am. Interment will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
