Helen S. Stevens
July 27, 1925 — June 17, 2018
Helen S. Stevens, age 92, of Kettering, born July 29, 1925, went home to be with her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 17, 2018.
She was a ray of sunshine & hope to everyone who came in contact with her, and was an inspiration to many people throughout her lifetime. She will forever be remembered for her faith in the Lord; and for the kindness, encouragement & love she extended to others.
She is survived by her children: daughter, Jan L. Hunn (Rex), son, Kevin B. Stevens and daughter, Lisa S. Smith (Greg); daughter-in-law, Suzanne Stevens; grandchildren, Lisa Whalen, Sean Stevens, Nathan Stevens, Jack Stevens, Carly Barrett, Emily Short, Matt Stevens, Ben Stevens, Tim Stevens and Jon Stevens; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and loving sister, Eleanor Owens and her family of Akron, OH. Helen was preceded in death by her son, Daniel C. Stevens.
In keeping with the wishes of Helen there will be no funeral service; however donations may be given to: Daniel C. Stevens Memorial Scholarship Fund at Cedarville University/Scholarship, 251 Main St., Cedarville, OH 45321.
