Helen Patricia Sanders

SANDERS, Helen P., age 86, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 10 Wilmington Place. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl B. Sanders; parents, Mary E. and Lucian Wilson; brothers, Edgar and Louis Wilson, and sister, Mary Synkowski. Helen is survived by her children, Mary (Warren) Opfer, Carl Sanders Jr., Anne Bush, Christopher (Diana) Sanders, Donald (Claudia) Sanders, Jeffrey (Chris) Sanders, William (Sherri) Sanders, and Paul Sanders; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Laverne Rees and Phyllis Battigaglia; brother, John Wilson, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. She was a charter member of Ascension Church. Helen spent her life caring for and raising her children and grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Ascension Catholic Church, 2025 Woodman Dr., Kettering. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
