MORGAN-SHEALEY, HELEN GRACE
66 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2004 at Hospice of Dayton. Helen was born January 10, 1938, the daughter of the late Edward and Teretha Aldridge. She was a dedicated nurse beginning her career in Detroit as an excellent surgical scrub nurse and later retiring as a psychiatric nurse at the Dayton Mental Health Department. Helen was also active as a member and minister of Christ World Wide Ministries and director of the Jesus House for Women. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Charles W. Shealey; sons, Anthony, Darrell (Michelle), Vanskie (Janell), Dexter (Diane), Cedric, and Jerry; step-children, Tanya, Natasha, and Kelvin (Lori); sister, Tressie (Charles); brother, Howard (Mamie); 17 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; aunts, Ellen and Mattie; spiritual daughters, Henrietta, Sheila, Senora, Julia, Sandra, and Janie; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2004 at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment following in Dayton National Cemetery.
