Helen "Maxine" Dobbins

Helen "Maxine" Dobbins, age 77, of Huber Heights Ohio, passed away November 24, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by her daughters. She was born August 12, 1942 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Harold and Eunice Danielson-Walker.

Maxine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, and Elvis Presley! To know Maxine was to love her and she was loved by all who knew her. She was a member of the Willow Creek Community in Huber Heights whom she loved, enjoyed, and appreciated all of her friends and neighbors. She loved playing cards with her beloved card club friends.

In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Dobbins; sister, Cissie Walker; and grandmother, Manila Spicer.

Maxine is survived by her daughters, Staci Repic (Tom Doak) and Jami (Rick) Boesenberg; grandchildren, Katie (Daniel) Griest, Jeff Repic, Amy (Ricky) Culbertson, Ricky (Devyn) Boesenberg; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Eric, Dylan, Kaydence, McKenna, and Gemma; siblings, Janice Ward, Jane (Jim) Berry, Jean Shumaker, Linda Jenkins, Sue (Jerry) Pierce, Dottie (Kenny) Webb, and William (Connie) Walker; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Family will receive friends Monday, December 2, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton Ohio 45424). Service will begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
