Age 94, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James W. Welsh in 2003.
Helen is survived by one son, James Lee Welsh; a very special friend, Kathy Lore; two granddaughters, Melissa & Sandy; one grandson, Brian and many friends & care-givers.
She has been a loyal member of St. Peter Catholic Church for over 50 years and retired from Ponderosa with 40 years of service.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Road, Huber Heights. Interment will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio.
Contributions may be made in memory of Helen to the St. Peter Church Food Pantry; St. Vincent De Paul or Outreach.
Helen would like to extend her special thanks to all of her wonderful caregivers, friends & neighbors for all the loving care they provided to her.
