WEAVER-QUEENER, Helen Margaret
Age 88, of Huber Heights, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015. She was born August 19, 1926 to the late, Chester and Irma Weaver. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Burl Queener; sister, Louise Weaver Haddix; and brother, Charles "Bud" Weaver.
She is survived by her children, Bill (Theresa) Queener of Kettering, Catherine Queener (David) Nolin of Dayton, Peggy Queener of New York, and Ross (Cindy) Queener of New York; sisters, Mary Weaver of Tipp City and Virginia Weaver Greenbaum of Irwin, OH; and grandchildren, Aaron Queener, Jacob Nolin, Carin Queener, and Meg Queener.
Helen was a longtime member of Aldersgate Methodist Church and Countryside Homemakers Group. She retired after many years of service from Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Interment will be held Monday, May 4, 2015 at 10:00 am at Arlington Cemetery in Brookville, OH.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
