Age 71, of Dayton, passed away Friday, February 20, 2009, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Thomas Edward "Ed" Killen; and by three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by four children, Prescilla and her husband, Tim Redick, Tommy and his wife, Jean Killen, Theresia Killen and Anthony and his wife, Sharlyn Killen; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two sisters, Edith and her husband, R. C. Gray and Ruby Nell Smitherman; one brother, James and his wife, Virginia Cole; her life-long best friend, Bonnie Teer; and by her extended family and many good friends.
The family will be receiving friends Sunday, February 22, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m., Monday (2/23), at the funeral home.
