Helen L. Kobrin

KOBRIN, Helen L., age 86, passed on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Summerville Assisted Living in South Dayton. She is preceded in death by Stephen J. Kobrin and by her beloved siblings, Mary, Michael, John, George, Ann, and Andy. Helen is survived by her devoted children, Patricia (Dale) Kobrin Anderson, Nancy (Dennis) Chrisbaum, Steven ("B") Kobrin; grandchildren, Jessica (Brett) Pohle Lessmann, Rachel (Brian) Biggs, Simone (Corwin) Butterworth, Willa Anderson, Lisa Rowles, and Doug Forbes; 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, including Loretta (Walter) Parker of Cleveland. Helen was a veteran of the Women's Army Air Corps during WWII and was a member of the VFW Post 9927. She served as PTA President at Resurrection Parish School 1961-1962. She retired from Inland General Motors after 22 years. Helen was also a member of the Third Order at St. Leonard's Center. Helen cherished her friends and family and her warm, spontaneous phone calls will be remembered fondly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in her remembrance 6:30pm Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at the Church of the Incarnation, 55 Williamsburg Ln., Centerville.
