Helen (Jeanie) Kile, age 89, of Beavercreek, Ohio died Monday May 10, 2021 at the Stuart
Rehabilitation Center in Stuart, Florida. Helen was born on September 3, 1931 in Lima, Ohio at
Lima Memorial Hospital to the late Vinton Howard Roof and Mabel Clarisa (Howbert) Roof.
Helen graduated from Shawnee High School in Lima, Ohio in 1949. She attended Ohio State
University. Helen was united in marriage to Howard (Dick) Kile on February 19, 1955 in Lima, Ohio.
She worked at WJ Noonan Co and Superior Coach Co. in Lima Ohio and the US Postal
Service, Dayton, Ohio retiring in 1997. When she and Dick retired they spent their winters in Stuart, Florida
while keeping their home in Beavercreek, Ohio.
Survivors include: Husband, Howard Richard Kile, Stuart Fl; Daughter, Carolyn Jean (Kile)
and Donald B. Collins, Traverse City, MI; Son, Thomas R. Kile, Perrysburg, Ohio; Brother,
Frank Roof, Kenton, Ohio. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Vinton H. Roof and
Mabel C. Roof, and brothers Dick Roof, Tom Roof and Ray Roof.
Helen's enjoyment in life was spending time with her husband, 2 children,7 grandchildren and 6
great grandchildren. She loved playing the piano, singing, and reading the newspaper.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, June 26th at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, 27 South Fairfield Road Beavercreek, OH 45440.
Memorial donations will be given to Stuart Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Stuart Fl.
