Helen J. Lowe

Helen Jean Lowe, age 83, passed away August 9, 2016 in Dayton, Ohio. She was a loyal wife, devoted mother and avid bingo player. Helen attended services at Woodland Hills Baptist Church. She was born to the late Dorsie and Gertrude Woodard on February 24, 1933. Helen is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 45 years, Ernest Lowe Jr.; sister Josephine Parker and aunt Mabel Woodard. She is survived by her brother Paul (Jeanette) Woodard; sister Betty (Joe) Meyers; four daughters Darlene (Jim) Lykins; Charlene (Mick) Miller; Dian (Bill) House; Kimberly Maxwell; 8 grandchildren Cindy, Tabatha, Scott (Amanda), Mike, Jeremy, Kelly, Bill, Zachary; 8 great grandchildren Jason, Matthew, Kayla, Allison, Searra, Michael, Miranda, Hannah; great great-grandchild Sadie; honorary family members Meagan, Thomas "T-Bone", Bradley and numerous other loved ones. A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 2pm-5pm with a funeral service to follow on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 10am. Burial will take place at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
